Endres Manufacturing Company Foundation has awarded a total of $22,050 to thirteen different agencies including: 

  • $500 to Chippewa Valley Technical College for a scholarship to a student in the Civil Engineering-Structural Program.
  • $1000 to the Festival Choir of Madison for sponsorship of the “Isn’t It Romantic” concert which will take place on March 3, 2007.
  • $2000 for Very Special Arts of Wisconsin. This money will help support a choir program for adults with disabilities.
  • $1050 to Waunakee Youth Hockey, which will outfit equipment for 2 hockey players.
  • $500 to St. Michael School in Dane. This grant will go towards texts and workbooks to complete the updating of its instructional reading plan.
  • $2000 to the Bartell Theater, which will fund curtains for their theater.  The Bartell Theater in downtown Madison serves the Madison Theatre Guild, MadCap, Mercury Players, Encore, Stage Q, and Strollers with a facility and equipment to practice their craft.
  • $3000 to the Dan Maerz MATC Scholarship. Dan Maerz was an employee for Endres Manufacturing and this scholarship will be given in his name in the 07/08 academic year to an MATC student from the Waunakee area who is interested in the mechanical or welding program, similar to Dan’s vocation.
  • $2500 match gift to the Edgewood Community for the Earthwalk and Learning Community project.  The Earthwalk, based on the Madison Edgewood Campus, seeks to develop an environmentally friendly neighborhood through stewardship of the land, educational programs on habitat maintenance, and provide an enjoyable shoreline for the greater Madison community.
  • $1000 to Project Graduation for Waunakee High School. This will go towards a substance-free graduation.
  • $2500 to Turn Around Teen for the New Directions Project.  Turn Around Teen is a counseling center located in Middleton focused on teens to assist them and their families to personal, educational, and vocational development.
  • $3000 to Common Wealth Development towards the Youth Business Mentoring Program, which provides employment training, financial education, job placements, and mentoring to low-income and at-risk youth.
  • $1000 to Imagine a Child’s Capacity. This money will help promote literacy among the community’s special needs children. 
  • $5000 match gift to Ronald McDonald House for a security camera system and a new door locking system for the House. The House serves up to 18 families, or 35 individuals a night, and this will help protect the House from overnight theft and break-ins.

 The Endres Manufacturing Company Foundation has been in existence for over 10 years. The Foundation reviews and awards grants twice per year, in May and in November.
