ENDRES MANUFACTURING COMPANY FOUNDATION

ANNOUNCES ADDITIONAL $111,500 IN GRANTS THIS YEAR (2018)

In May, Endres Manufacturing Company Foundation announced grants of $111,500 to 16 nonprofit organizations, in addition to the annual sponsorship of Big Brothers, Big Sisters, partnership with Dane County Arts, and sponsorship of Zoo Lights for the Henry Vilas Zoo. Endres Manufacturing Company, a family business, celebrated its 90th birthday in 2016. Since 1996, the foundation has given away over $2.2 million to various charities. Also, the foundation has pledged funds to the Vera Court Youth Leadership room and to the Waunakee Library. Among the May, 2018, grant requests awarded are:

  • DIAS – $2,500 for shelter aid for domestic violence victims
  • Gio’s Garden – $2,500 for respite for caregivers and special needs children
  • Goodman Center – $2,500 for Girls Inc. Leadership Education
  • Literacy Network – $5,000 for Parent Education
  • Madison Circus Space – $25,000 for new building
  • Madison Northside Planning Council – $5,000 for FEED Kitchen and Healthy Food for All
  • North/Eastside Senior Coalition – $3,000 for increased staffing for elderly minorities
  • Rape Crisis Center – $2,000 for Game Changers promotion work
  • Red Caboose Child Care Center – $5,000 scholarships for low-income families
  • River Food Pantry – $5,000 MUNCH program for healthy family snacks and meals
  • Safe Harbor – $4,000 for child forensic interview equipment
  • Stoughton Hospital Foundation – $5,000 for Wellness Garden
  • Waunakee High School – $25,000 for welding/mechanical program equipment
  • Waunakee Public Arts Foundation – $5,000 for major sculpture to honor teachers
  • WPT – $5,000 for Wisconsin Water from the Air program
  • Wisconsin Youth Symphony Orchestra – $10,000 for Music Makers Program
